I'm pretty sure that most of you had been to Laundry . Laundry is established in 2006, Laundry was born out of a passion for life and its many pleasures of good music, good company, food and drinks. As a venue that has been a firm supporter of the local music scene, a platform for many aspiring artist and being host to various international acts, Laundry has built a name for itself as an ideal place to chill, hangout and catch-up with family and friends over a couple of drinks or to simply enjoy a casual night out.

The ALL NEW Laundry at The Curve Mutiara Damansara has reopened with a brand new look following its recent major facelift. The changes are not just cosmetic, as Laundry is set to reinvent itself with a fresh new concept in entertainment and music variety.

For the next few months, Laundry will be bringing in an additional line-up of happening acts for its customers as this popular chill out venue is still going strong and remains a favourite hangout among many in the Klang Valley.

THE FEEL

Think The Great Gatsby meets Mad Men, Studio 54 on a chill pill. Laundry Bar will give its guests a whole new feel of being in a different era. Also introducing its new cocktails like 'IN BED WITH KC' & 'DEATH BY CHOCOLATE' will leave its guests feeling good all day and all night.

THE SOUND

As a venue that has been a staunch supporter of the local music & arts scene and a platform for many an aspiring artist, Laundry Bar is keeping the music alive with an extensive line up of music genres from Soul to Funk, Hip Hop to House, Rock to Chill Out Music to fit every musical taste. Every so often Laundry will reward its patrons and guests with an international act or a music festival.

Start your weekends on RETRO NIGHT FRIDAY with DJ JASON as he takes you on a musical journey from the 70s through to the 80s, 90s and current party hits. On SATURDAY we have DJ Fuzz coupled with a special guest DJ every Saturday spinning everything from RnB to Hip Hop to Top 40 hits. End it all with an escape to paradise every Sunday afternoon with chill out music ala’ Café Del Mar with DJ GAIJIN and special International Guest DJS

Made up of four young talented musicians who are daring and totally mysterious men formed a band called Mad Sally. The boys of Mad Sally are known for being the next best thing just when you thought the last thing was the best. They cover popular chart hits from the 50s to the present, performed with top musicianship and hi-energy showmanship which are combine together to create an unforgettable show for their audience. Mad Sally comprises of Max Thurst who is the lead vocalist, Arash the bassist, Axis on guitar and Jer Mann on drums.

BLISTERBLISTER is a Hard Rock n Roll band made up of family members, Ramon "Solo" Singho on Lead Guitars, Mario "Mangz" Singho on Vocals/Rhythm Guitars, Julio "Jubz" Singho on Bass/Backing Vocals, Darian "Captain" Henry on Vocals/Rhythm Guitars and Zachary 'Zack Attack' De'Costa on Drums/Percussion.

Formed on Christmas 2000, they first began jamming on an impulse. Began playing professionally in 2005 after participating and being placed in the Top 10 in a nationwide battle of the bands competition called Blast Off. The music style of BLISTER is a fusion of punk rock, blues rock, heavy metal and hard rock.

On top of all , I had recently attend the Laundy Launch Party with special themes which are the 80'S

After a month of major facelift, Laundry re-opens its doors with a brand new look, feel and whole new attitude.

To celebrate the re-opening of the popular restaurant and bar, Laundry recently held a re-opening party for around 300 invited guests which included business partners, regular patrons, and members of the media.

According to Laundry’s Marketing Manager, Llew Marsh, “The launch party is the perfect opportunity to engage with our regulars, as well as new patrons to showcase what the all-new Laundry has to offer. In terms of design, we have given the place a more modern look and feel while maintaining its classic charm. Our design concept is vintage chic and somewhat based on the spirit of The Great Gatsby meets Mad Men. Everything in the new Laundry has been custom made, from the upholstery to vintage wallpaper, the lighting fixtures to the table lamps”.

New highlights of Laundry include a designated entrance walkway, with a Hollywood style marquee, a permanent DJ console, a more focused stage with more than 30 mirror balls of varying sizes above it, a spanking new marble top bar, private booths with leather seats, 2 classic barber chairs, 2 VIP lounge areas, light fixtures from Spain and a visually engaging RGB wall designed by Carnovsky, a Milan based artist/designer duo comprising of Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla.

Throughout the night, many female guests also took the opportunity to glam-up with a complimentary make-over provided at a ‘glamour station’, with free flow of drinks and sumptuous canapés offered to all.

The highlight of the evening was a two-part performance by the band Tabloid featuring Sharon Chong and guest performer Nick Davis, who was specially brought in by Laundry for the special occasion. The duo kept the guests entertained with their selection of cover music featuring hit songs from the 70’s till the 80’s era and modern Electronica music.

In between each set, guest DJ Buddy Love took over for several sessions spinning favourite R&B tunes, while resident DJ Jason took over the deck to continue the celebration well into the night, making it a memorable event for everyone to enjoy the brand new Laundry.
